Hello! I am looking to get into OoT runs, and I have much interest in this category due to the length, and it looks enjoyable. I have a few questions, of course!
-
Is there any updated full video finish guide on this I can find?
-
How difficult is it to learn (Bonus: Difficulty compared to MST?)
-
Is there another category I should learn first before? I am looking for them that have a decent guide.
-
Just a random question: What's the most beginner friendly optimal category for OoT? (Any% old strats are fairly easy, but I'm talking mainly intermediate/pro strats)
5.I have homebrew, how do I get OoT on the WiiVC
-
No there is no No IM/WW guide. The only really detailed video guide for oot is Zellys MST guide. However a lot of the tricks in MST are in No IM/WW. So you can still skip around that guide to find some useful things
-
No IM/WW is easier than MST and is definitely what I recommend you start with. With no im/ww you can choose how difficult you want to make it (skip boatskip, skip spriti hover, etc). At a higher level it is a difficult category but still great for beginners
-
No, No IM/WW is a great one to start with.

look at question 3

You need to install a wad using a wad manager. Look in the resources channel of the oot discord server
Also, for any further questions you have you should ask in the discord. Youll get way more responses as opposed to in the forums
Yeah, there is. Zelly made one:
Also Ghoti made one in 2014 that offers some really good information:
