What's the difference between doing a run hitless and attempting an Any% run and happen to do hitless?
@starsmiley Just look at the top speedruns for Any% and you will see. In most of them, they get hit on purpose to get the fastest time.
i agree an catagory extensions would be best for all these meme catagorys sort of like what was done for undertale
A category extensions board will not be created until the full game releases as there's too little of a game for you to create categories for, as most will be extremely arbitrary otherwise.
Not when it's just going from point A to point B with zero route changes compared to the categories we already have.
https://www.speedrun.com/undertalecategoryextensions#No-Hit_Genocide Why does that one exist then? It's "the same" as Genocide.
or this one https://www.speedrun.com/undertalecategoryextensions#GDQ and this one https://www.speedrun.com/undertalecategoryextensions#Hard_Mode_Genocide this one is basically 2 genocide runs in a row https://www.speedrun.com/undertalecategoryextensions#Soulless_Genocide i mean they are literally that same as a normal run just one was at a gdq and one is on hard mode
Also, just putting this out here but we (being SRC staff) will not accept a category extension board for Deltarune right now until the full game comes to fruition. It would end up making that board entirely pointless, rendering every single run worthless to be tracked. Basically though category extension boards is for all the memey-like stuff that just doesn't work as a misc category under the main board itself.
Currently, this game alone has over 100 worth of runs which will have to be moved when the game comes out. I could only assume the nightmare a category extension board would be at this time.
I can’t answer anything about the Undertale category extensions board as I was not the one who created it and the categories. If it were solely up to me, half of them would be removed.
Recently, Twitch has announced that on April 19, they are removing highlights from accounts that have over 100 hours of highlights (until you are below 100 hours). This means that if your Twitch account has over 100 hours of highlights, your runs on speedrun.com are at risk of losing its video foota
