Try the hookshot jump instead. There is setups, or you can use the one frame method. Way easier than doing a series of hovers.
Someone on twitch here, I showed him Blank A chu's (since he's on 1.0) and HS Jump, no worries he's on his way to success :D!

Classic Kakariko Route: This is the old Any% route from pre-2015 that can be found under the Defeat Ganon tab. It features traditional gameplay many are familiar with and is great to start out with as a new runner
