Hi, I am trying to get the wiivc version on my wii u. I have the hbc (and I know its installed correctly because I use it all the time), but I cant get the wad to load when I install it on my wii u. I open it and it shows me a screen like this http://prntscr.com/etxgkz No inputs on my GC do nothing, and when I press A on the wii mote it takes me back to the wii menu, any ideas?

Your installation works perfectly, but you don't have a classic controller plugged in. I'm assuming you're using the Gamecube to Wii U adapter. That text says that there's no Classic Controller detected, so it sends you back to the menu. The Gamecube to Wii U adapter only works for Smash 4, it does not work for VC titles. You have to use either the Wii U Gamepad, a Wii U Classic Controller, or a Wii U Classic Controller Pro (recommended, the others ones do not have notched analog sticks) on Wii U VC.
