For this decision, I kinda feel like this is a bit of a bad one, but I do understand that when playing on emulator, people can cheat (mainly by save states or splicing to name a few) but when using an emulator for seriously running the game, that doesn't mean that you are cheating to get fake times onto the leaderboards. But I can understand on why GothicLogic made this decision. It can sometimes happen, but not always. (and yeah, this may sound stupid)
Yeah same, but probably not, according to what @Alaris_Villain said. So he probably isn't. and yes, i say probably, because I have no clue
But here's the thing, I'm just curious if runs can still be submitted since that the leaderboards for EMU and VC are still there. But this may sound idiotic since that this forum says BANNED
This is a step in the right direction, but you stop before the real change can be properly addressed. You need to ban anyone from submitting to N64 that has ever submitted a VCheat or EmuCheat run, otherwise they'll just bring the cheating disease over to God's chosen console.
@Icy_Wolf21 where tf do you live where N64's are $100-$400? I got mine at a local retro store for $40 with all cables and one controller included, eBay has them for $50-$60 at a quick glance.
The amount of people that genuinely believed we'd ban emu and VC is more than any of us expected tbh. It was fun but yeah it was an April Fools' joke lol. Some of these replies were hilarious.
cant understand how people like e.g. @MajoogSpeedruns seem not to be able to read earlier answers...it was said 4 times before his post that this was a joke...still he totally loses his mind -.-
he's from korea and might not know about april fools, I'm going to lock this thread to avoid more confusion.
If you wish to replace your twitch highlights with reuploads, please edit your already verified run rather than deleting the verified run and making a new submission. This makes it a lot easier for us to track which submissions are reuploads and should be less work on your part as well.
