What capture devices do y'all use?
Hello, I'm very new here, and new to the speedrunning world in general and I was wondering what capture devices you guys/gals use.
I use a Diamond Multimedia One Touch VC500, it doesn't record HDMI but it gets the job done
I use a Dazzle DVD Recorder HD - works really well for composite/S-video. HD cap cards are stupid expensive, so if you wanna capture newer consoles I'd recommend getting a converter to save yourself some money.
Like empulent, i use hauppauge hd pvr 2 gaming edition. Its a bit expensive, but worth it as i can record/stream all my consoles, from PS1 to gamecube to Wii U and Xbox one.
