How Do I Get Consistent in 8-C?

Title ^

I've had many great runs MURDERED by 8-C. I just can't beat the last part. Seriously. I could be getting Sub-40s and Sub 35-s (even without 5-4 skip), but my PB is still over an hour. Please, I searched every post on this forum and there isn't a single person that has asked for an 8-C guide.

Thanks :)

First you should try going through it quick, but casually. Second you should try to keep propeller through airship to save from any mess ups. And third you should practice. It might help to slow down in a run until you can get more consistent. My best advice is to practice.

Try to copy other runners gameplay. This provides a good standard which will keep you on track, so to speak. Additionally, target each individual segment, be it a jump or whatever, that you're struggling with. Unfortunately, 8-C is a bit of a pain to practice because it's so long, but it you die after getting the checkpoint you can restart from there repeatedly to make things a little easier.

You can always practice 5-4 and then get the run to pb pace, then go to castle and LOSE IT ALL

Exciton that's very bad advice

The furthest I've made it with propeller is 5-2 (yes, 5-2, not 5-3). So keeping the propeller for 8-C is nearly impossible for me. But thank you guys for the good advice. I'll get practicing!

You can get it back in 8-A. Actually, the RTA route has you damage boost in 8-1, then do 8-2 small then grab a mushroom in 8-7 so you can get propeller in 8-A, then keep it for castle.

Yea but thats kind of hard

My tip is to look at the WR and make notes. AMD I MEAN LOTS OF NOTES. Then practice with and without propeller

Dude this thread is from January of 2018. There is no reason to respond to really old threads like this. Also, the current wr is not a good one to learn from due to all the tiny optimizations and difficult things like 556 and bombless.
