Damage indicator in HUD is tied to head instead of heart in Demon fight.  Game ends when Demon head is killed.  ROM should be otherwise normal.

Contains savestate for each level and boss with optimal subweapons and ninpo based on standard strats. Boss states start just before entering so you can enter on various global timers.

FCEUX Save States For All Levels and Bosses

This straddles the line between game and tool. It is for testing mash speed. You set a mash button (A, B, Start, Select or “B with down” to simulate Ninja Gaiden Jaquio mashing. You set a time limit (1, 2, 5 or 10 seconds). Once time is complete, it will display the number of buttons mashed and the rate of button pushes per second.

Ninja Gaiden (NES) rom hack for endless backflip practice. Backflipping is entering a slow backwards jump by holding forward, pressing jump and then pressing back in the air. If the player continues to hold back and jumps frame-perfectly, they will continue doing a slow backward jump. See how many you can get in a row!
