Creepy Early is a skip that allows us to reach Creepy 1 by hitting the load zone in the secret passage in Shock 2 without needing the Super Smash to break the boards that are blocking it.
Explanation
This video gives an in-depth explanation of Creepy Early and how it works. Note: Since this video has been uploaded, a version of Creepy Early has been discovered for Gamecube and Playstation.
Tutorial
This video explains how to do the Gamecube/Playstation version of Creepy Early.
Woodpecking
Woodpecking is a slightly slower, yet easier method for jumping from the wooden planks to the rockface under the shortcut to Creepy 1. In this method, the jump timings to avoid hitting the death plane are a bit more lenient than in the original version.
Board Rage
Building off of the Woodpecking method, Board Rage is an even faster and easier method for jumping from the wooden planks to the rockface. With the right timing, you can use the d-pad movements shown in this tutorial while charging against the corner of the boards to clip past the invisible wall and reach the cliffside.
Happy 2025, gamers! We hope everyone's year is off to a good start. 🎉
