Given the changes and slight rebalancing that occured in the Wave 3 patch, is it going to impact every "Items" speedrun currently made on the leaderboards ? Either in the form of a filter, a different category to differentiate updates or a leaderboard reset ?

It will definitely affect things slightly, but the difference isn't drastic enough to warrant a leaderboard split or reset. We may add a filter for version number (similar to the cartridge/digital filter, for example), but we'll pretty much go forward with no change. Note that custom items are NOT allowed for existing categories, however!
