Ruins Category

Hey guys, what if we add a "Ruins%" category? Rules would be starting after having your name selected and stopping when the Undertale logo is on screen.

That might be good to add some short runs that can also help improving the classic any% run or TPE run, nuh?

Anyway, that was my idea, i'll go record an exemple run and we'll see what it does :)

Well not quite, since that permits to focus to minor details, like optimizing and stuff, and we can find some bugs that can be useful but that can't be used on regular runs.

If people want to practice the ruins they can do so by themselves, we already have 4 categories that are quite short.

Well that's the point, creating that category can make people want to practice more, and together, and onto a category that's not outside of the canon runs, which can be quite useful. And that can help people like me, who don't have enough time to do a regular any% run. Because yes, i can't sit for a couple of hours in front of my computer.

Agreed with that point, that's why I thought it was worth its own category. I already am training for Frisk%, but I want to see how it does on an easier mode.

No, Ruins% would be meaningless, because of Frisk mode. Ruins% is alot more easier and is basically the beginning of Neutral. Pray for good rng, dont get pie, wish for hands, there would be no point. If you want to see it done on an easier mode just watch every neutral beginning ever(besides pre-pce). Bandage is 100% escape rate, your step min and max is increased, and you dont have to kill the frog.

Colombia

I say we have ILS for beating bosses ir maybe beating areas such as the Ruins
