To address Twitch's new 100-hour highlight limit, we are making a few changes to make sure that the highlight limit (as well as any future Twitch decisions) doesn't affect the leaderboard's integrity. Effective immediately, we are no longer accepting runs submitted through Twitch highlights, regardless of whether your account exceeds the 100 hour limit.

Twitch has made it clear that it is willing to arbitrarily delete content, and we have decided that it would be better to not have the leaderboard rely on Twitch. If you have any verified runs submitted through Twitch highlights, please migrate the videos to YouTube or some other video hosting platform. On Twitch, you are able to directly export videos to YouTube without having to download them.

Once you move your videos off of Twitch, please make a post on⁠ this forum thread using the following format:

Speedrun.com run link: 
New video link: 
Any other edits requested (optional): 

For the post title, please include your speedrun.com username. You can include multiple runs in one post, but please do not edit new runs into your post after posting it. Example:

Speedrun.com run link: https://www.speedrun.com/undertale/runs/z5jx115m
New video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ

Please use this forum instead of editing the runs directly on speedrun.com, as editing runs yourself would put them back into the verification queue unnecessarily.

The deadline to move runs onto your own account is April 1 2025. After the deadline, we will be downloading all remaining Twitch highlights and uploading them onto an archive YouTube channel.
