Hi, I´d like to buy a Gameshark and got 2 questions about it: Does it work on PAL and NTSC, or are there different ones? Which one is needed for the single star timer and level resets?
I also know that those two codes work with 3.0 and 3.3. It should work with the ohters too but I cant promise.
Thank you for the first infos. Another question came into my mind: You were probably talking about the Gameshark PRO. Does someone know the differences between PRO and just Gameshark?
Pro version allows more codes, which is very helpful for practice. That's about all I know difference wise
gameshark pro (3.x) supports more code types, as well as up to ~250 lines instead of like 10-15. you can't do much with non-pro gs such as 2.x. more info is available on https://sites.google.com/site/sm64gameshark/
as for PAL/NTSC, the gameshark should work on any, however i'm not sure. different (regional) versions of the game require different codes though, there are no practice codes for PAL as far as i know and running NTSC version of the game on PAL console will cause issues
If you wish to replace your twitch highlights with reuploads, please edit your already verified run rather than deleting the verified run and making a new submission. This makes it a lot easier for us to track which submissions are reuploads and should be less work on your part as well.
