I was looking at the level leaderboards and i found that there were No single star runs, just Stage RTA. Why single star runs aren't a thing anymore?
It is because it has already been optimized so many times.
I checked all the stickies and didn't find it, but I did find this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_cOIEnuKIQ-3LA_U0ygpiL87PTSBPlHmKDId0vC7alo/edit?usp=sharing
That's the one. It is linked on the "Leaderboard histories" sheet
So if I were to run a single star run on emu, how would I retire the run from n64 timing?
@Mruns_05 You can't. You can use in-game time to compare your times since it will be the same for n64 and emu, but since emu does not have lag like n64, and part of single star execution is lag reduction on n64, emu real times cannot be compared to n64 real times.
I really hope you'll bring back the single star RTA as this has been a great help for many of us trying to do longer runs faster. Now for example, I am trying to find out if a tj in bits is faster than the common route, but it takes more time when I don't have an official "This is the fastest. period"-video to look at.

The single star records can be found here. They were moved for a couple of reasons, but essentially it was mainly moved because the leaderboard format didn't exactly fit the information people wanted conveyed. This site has much more info on WR progression of the stars, potential strat improvements, ideal times, and of course the current records (both real time and IGT).
The spreadsheet found on that page is also linked at the top of the Resources tab on SRC.
We would like to announce that VC and EMU subcategories are now active on the Stage RTA leaderboards (under "Levels"). Stage RTA involves collecting all the stars in a given stage including the 100 coin star. Timing starts on star select and ends upon collecting the final star. You are allowed to us
