I doubt that works correctly. If it's only translating half the page, and not the other half, that means that it probably doesn't work correctly.

@SkittlesCat We haven't left, we're all still reading through everything. Personally, I just caught up with everything in the thread and have documented any bugs/feedback I saw.

I'll still make sure to pop in and check here for the next while, but I'd like to encourage everybody to start submitting bugs/feedback to the Support Hub instead because its a lot easier for staff to document https://www.speedrun.com/support/tickets/new

Some small oddity that I don't understand is that embed YT video SRGTsilent posted sometimes stays a white box for a strangely long time for me before loading the YouTube embed.

I cleared my speedrun.com / youtube cookies completely and it still occurs. Would normally think it's a browser problem, but only noticed this really on here and within the last day or so. Maybe it's a chrome issue though.

(Only seems to occur on forum posts though, embedding on profile pages and run pages seems fine)

On the forums, when on a thread, the thread's title should come before the forum's name. This would make it much easier to track which thread I have open, in which tab.

For example:

"The Site forum - Welcome to the new Speedrun - Feedback Thread - Speedrun"

to

"Welcome to the new Speedrun - Feedback Thread - The Site forum - Speedrun"

@SkittlesCat one was online 4 months ago and the other 2 years ago I don't think they're reading that anytime soon.

When following a game, there should be a link next to the "Following" button that takes us directly to that game's notification settings (like on the old site)

Here are some more fixes pushed over the last 2 days or so!

  • Fixed a bunch of bugs regarding category/level/variable/value archiving.
  • Highlight when something is archived both on run pages and during run editing.
  • Run places are now correctly invalidated whenever a category, level, or variable is archived/restored. This makes it so those runs are properly orphaned, i.e. they show the rank “Orphaned” when going to their pages.
  • Fix: resource deletion doing nothing.
  • Fix: banned users can submit runs.
  • Add /resourceasset/:resourceId redirect.
  • Fixed leaderboards showing an incorrect time with an asterisk under the “Time” column in some cases.
  • Fixed leaderboard sorting by “Time” column not working.
  • Use platform names instead of URLs in leaderboard filters.
  • Archive buttons now use a more apt “Archive” icon instead of the previous “Trash” one.
  • Tweaked styling for the “About” widget on user pages.
  • Tweaked styling for banned usernames.
  • Add missing Audit Log filters: “Category Archived”, “Level Archived”, and “Variable archived”.
  • Other minor styling tweaks.

Still more to come

Great bug fixes so far.

But what I don't understand is, why it still shows one of 3 random times on the recent runs and the profile of the page, even tho the submitted and verified time is completely different.

On the last screenshot you can also see that the picture of the game in profiles and on the frontpage is still wrong, even tho it shows the correct one in your followed games when you click on "Games"

@Volpey on the profile, that is the run's play date. The time shouldn't even show on people's profiles. Since the time is not even settable on a run's date

@YUMmy_Bacon5 But some runs do show the submitted time on the profile. It's really confusing. Either way I don't think it should be shown because submitted time =/= the time you did the run.

@Volpey, no, all runs show the play date. I have found the run you sent a screenshot of.

And that run's play date and submit date are the same. So, it's showing the play date

For some reason, there are release dates on series? These should not be a thing

Why the fuck

are there spaces.

between paragraphs

when I hit enter?

and why, when im using shift+enter to make a new paragraph, (I pressed shift+enter here) it doesn't go down to its own paragraph and just jumps back up? (when editing it LOOKS like its on a new line, but it jumps back up like it was just a space. just try it for yourself, you'll see.

here is an example of WR progression list I made a long time ago that got messed up after the change. this is what is looked like on the old site AND when editing.

and this is what it looks like when I checked it for the very first time and when finish editing.

so if i just hit enter

and make this spaced out stuff.

it looks like this. this is triggering to my eyes and pointlessly large.

seriously, why was the default paragraph size made with 1 space? if you want to go down an extra line and make a space, we can just just hit enter twice. or do I have to ask SRC to make paragraph size options a la Microsoft word?

edit: so funny thing. I was making a bug report about this and the text boxes for bug reporting don't have this issue. You can hit enter and it will go down to the next line without any space.

I'd like to request the ability for everyone to follow more than 100+ games.

In fact, WAAAY more than 100+ games.

This is particularly irritating because this persists even when typing up guides. It has essentially solidified the idea of just linking to a google doc even further now in the guides section.

unsure if this is a bug, but it's weird regardless: seems like rejected runs are counted towards run/runner count.

if this is intentional, please change that lol. rejected runs are rejected for a reason and tracking them seems like a mild oversight. also, it makes games with closed leaderboards (such as unreleased games) harder to test changes without throwing off the statistics tracking.
