At this point, we should at least add all the ARR raids and Trials. You can solo all of Coil, minus T8 which requires 2 people for Allagan field mechanics. And you can solo all of the Primals from ARR.

I also wanted to enter a video of ARR Primal Gauntlet. fighting each Extreme Primal from ARR solo.

yes, we should definitely create categories for trials on all difficulties as well as raids. We should also create an (Unsynced) category for each dungeon and trial/raid. just to make it more of a challenge for optimization and mechanic knowledge. If you all do not want to go through the time to create the categories i have in mind, if i could become a moderator i could create these categories as well as promote speedrunning for this great game/

I think Job selection should be extended to the PotD categories. It would be nice to see at a glance which jobs are getting which times.

Unsynced and min iLvl would also be a nice addition to the Dungeon runs (as well as Trials and Raids if/when they are added in)

Trials and minimum ilvl runs should be really interesting!
We personally wanted to tackle some minimum ilvl dungeons and was wondering our times! 😉

sorry i was a bit busy past few days with a marathon IRL, i will make sure to add the Unsynced category on the level board, as for trial/raids ill get on that as soon as i can.

as for the month late reply, i follow alot of games so i might have missed it lol

I dont think an unsynced category is necessary as thats what all of the runs generally are, it should be changed to "synced"

Last month, I had suggested the addition of an Any% clear of the Realm Reborn 1st main story from Level 1 - 50 from the start of the game to the end of the Praetorium. I will be committing to doing a run of this category this Saturday on my Twitch page and would like to have an admin to witness. Thanks

I came acrosss this and had some ideas and questions I wanted to throw out here. Hope thats the right place for it.

First I saw that every dungeons has its own Leaderboard. Which is good but a little bit overhelming when you look for something specific. So my idea was to merge some Leaderboards.
For example:
Instead of having a LB for Satasha and Satasha (Hard) - You could only make one board for Satasha but with the difficulty as subcategory. That way the runs are still seperated but are on one LB.

Second - The rules for the unsynched dungeons say that you should use IGT. For everything unsynched its easy cause you see the time it took you to complete the dungeon at the end in the chat. But you dont get this for unsynched. At least not that I know of. So in that case you either have to subtract the time or use RTA. Is that correct or is that phrase meant to be in a different way.

For the Full Party Categories - Do I just have to do the levels with a full unsynched party and submit with just myself as runner? Or do I need to name every player who participated in this and what if those people dont have a account?

Thats all for now. Thanks in advance for answering and have a good day SoBayed

1- yeah thats not a bad idea imo, didnt think about it but ill see what i can do there(almost 2 am at the time of this reply so ill do it once i wake up)

2-im not sure i understand the question

3- you can write all their names or submit only 1, up to you.

1- glad you like the idea SoBayed Hope you get something to work 😃

2- lemme try to be a bit clear what I meant. The timing rules for the "Synched" Runs are saying "Timed using in-game timer."
If you run with an undersized party the game will actually tell you how long it took you to beat the duty
However if you run synched you dont get this notification. So my question was or I rather assume this, that you have to calculate. Basically seeing when the dutytimer dissappears and subtract that time from the totaltime to get your IGT right?
And for Real Time: The Timer would start once you are allowed to move out of the circle and the "DUTY COMMENCED" appears on the screen and then ends when the screen goes black and the enemy is dead basically. Just wanted to get this confirmed 😛

3. Cool good to know 🙂

2- the same way its calculated for PotD runs yeah, max time - time on fade out = your igt

that's how i would time it for IGT

For real time it would be once you leave the circle, correct.

I'm starting up my Heaven-on-High 1-10 practice, now. 25/25 arm/armour is gold for floor 10 for anyone wanting to try it as well. =^-^=

Regarding Sync / min. I-lvl Timing Rules

The Rules still are stating to use the in-game timer, but for synced content there is no timer so i would suggest the following ruleset.

- The timer starts when the "Duty Start" appears. (Can be difficult with loading times)
- You do a Countdown at the beginning of a content (no moving / no buffing) and the timer starts once the countdown says "start"
- The timer ends with the lethal hit on the Boss (this is the moment the usually cutscenes would play)

iirc even on synced you do have a timer, just no final time, its still pretty simple to set IGT with that information.

IF you are good at Math and keep an eye on the time the final boss dies. As far as i know the IGT stats with the "duty start" message so i know when to press my timer button.
Thx Deln für the information on the timing.

for synced or POTD i usually double check so no worry there.

Regarding Raid Content
Is it possible to add the following Raids as individual Levels with all it's specific Categories?

Missing Dungeon

The new dungeon wich got released recetly is also missing in the Leaderboards

im not sure it would look too good having that many category instead of having them all grouped.

also added new dungeon.
