Hey all, I used to practice speedrunning this game all the time but never really did anything with the tricks I learned because of a subpar laptop I had. Well, I recently got a new one, a good one even, and wanted to give something a shot now that section 3's out.
I can't seem to replicate the old skip in Peaceful Rest Valley anymore, however. The one where the Sprouts kick you in the ass so hard you clip into the wall and can skip the snake cave, which I used to do to get the punch card while still doing the obliteration route. Does anyone know if it was patched out? I can't tell if it's not possible anymore or if I'm just rusty as hell lmao.
I did a little bit of investigative work and yes it is patched. From what I can tell (from looking at patch notes) it was patched in version 2.09.
