Today, I tried to see if Mr. Tenna's intro could be skipped by renaming the MP4 so the game couldn't play it.

Result: the game froze.

I mean, that'd just be altering game files though, don't think that's allowed besides the specified music files in the rules.

Yeah, that sounds like cheating when you mentioned any alterations in the code. However if you can’t install auto masher and the rules don’t let you mash text, hold X on Switch(possibly C on PC) to skip text without mashing - makes runs faster since that’s what you’re going for.

You don't install an external auto masher in this game.

The auto masher is the Wrist Protector, which is automatically given to you in each chapter (on the Chapter 1 only demo, you have to manually pick it up at the start of Dark World by arriving there within 8 minutes of opening the game).
