For those who run Wii Party with an emulator,

Please take a moment to read the "Game Rules" tab of the rulebook. We have made important updates to the emulator rules several months ago, which involves some pre-run and post-run preparations to prevent cheating.

We announced this to the Wii Series Speedrunning Discord server as soon as it happened, but there have still been emulator runners submitting runs without following these new rules. This has prompted me to bring back the news feature, so that I can get this across to as many new and returning emulator runners as possible.

Again, if you plan to submit Wii Party runs with an emulator, please read the game rules! We will be less lenient with grandfathering unaware runners in the future. Thank you.
