Time Starts on Selecting Restart
-
Time Stops First Frame Congratulations! Appears
No Restrictions on Team Builds, it's optimal to beat NFL Challenge and get an NFL Legend Player, Save File leaving 760 Tokens for Player Challenges, 200 for +3 Equipment Challenges and Reload that Save to do all Challenge Attempts after completing the game.
Starting Timer on Restart is faster then Starting timer on Selecting Ready when first selecting challenges. It is more convenient to start from there for multiple reasons:
-
Faster Resets when doing attempts
-
Can Start an internal Timer and Press A to Restart Challenge Same time very easily
-
For Example starting timer on Selecting a play, or first control on first play doesn't account the time it takes to select the first play and also you have to scramble to start a timer while executing your gameplay.
At the moment times are listed by full seconds. If more Players emerge and competition increases I am open to discussion about listing Milliseconds. That would impose either using a frame counter or using accurate timers that better track Milliseconds, which I am perfectly fine with implementing but ultimately at the moment I am more concerned with runs that are at least 1 sec faster. This means for example a 1st place time of 11.3xx sec is also going to be tied with a time that is 11.7xx sec and listed the same.
I am open to discussion about this, any questions or any suggestions here in this thread or in DM's.
I have put in a good amount of work to put up decent times for all Challenges, the longer ones are definitely beatable but I Set a pretty good bar and example for each challenge.
I encourage competition and pushing the Limits as much as possible, please by all means anyone who is interested in doing Individual Challenges (IC's) give them a shot. NFL Street is extremely fun game and I look forward to seeing more players emerge and verifying your runs.
The Decision to add IC's to the SRC Leaderboards makes Speedrunning the game Accessible to everyone whether that's someone who just wants to casually do any of the 192 Challenges for fun and use meme custom players or playstyles while also Serious high level speedrun competition for best times on any or all of the challenges. A Full game run being quite long is not accessible for everyone so Hopefully this is a way to get into speedrunning NFL Street without the full commitment to a long RNG Heavy run.
Good Luck to Everyone, Have Fun and Hope to see some IC's !!
