As an any% category, should I not be able to do everything possible to make the game faster? Cheat codes, etc. Stuff within the bounds of the rules?

No cheat codes & no gameshark/codebreaker cheats. Esp. the ones that affect the gameplay.

Pretty sure the only Gameshark Codes that would be used for speedrun purposes is Infinite Turbo and Game Breaker after 1 play.

Definitely don't see a reason to have a cheats allowed category if all it would be is Spamming Gamebreakers and having unlimited Turbo.

If anyone wants to do a run with that just for the hell of it feel free to link it in the forums what not, but I don't see any reason to make that a speedrun category
