Hey there speedrunners! Thank you for your patience as the SRC team discussed how to handle farewell skip for fullgame categories. We have split True Ending and All Chapters into sub-categories, with the primary board not allowing the skip, and the secondary allowing it. After 6 months, we will re-evaluate the placement of these sub-categories that allow the skip, and if they are not played very much we may move them to Category Extensions.**

Affected golden berry categories (202, 25 goldens) will have a variable denoting whether the skip is used or not. We chose not to split these as the skip should not be required to get a competitive time, many people don’t play them to get a competitive time anyway, and allowing the use of the skip may actually make 202 more accessible, which seems like a positive for such an underplayed category.

A note about runs that do a large amount of pause buffering: if holding a journal bind to hide the pause menu, livesplit must be on screen with proper decimals as otherwise there is no IGT being displayed for the duration of the buffer strategy (i.e. 8c, farewell skip, etc.). Game rules have already been updated to reflect this change.
