I wanted to start speedruning celeste, but I got the Microsoft store version because it was on gamepass then I realized it was v1.3.3.0 and not v1.4.0.0 I don't know if I'm allowed to use that version of the game.
While it's not recommended as 1.3 doesn't have some good QoL updates from 1.4(which is now out on all other platforms and consoles), the Microsoft Store version is completely valid for our leaderboards. We only require the latest patch on the platform you play. As the Microsoft Store version's latest patch is 1.3.3.0 you're completely fine to do runs on it and submit them
