im interested in speedrunning for BATIM and I have a few questions before I fully decide to speedrun this game.

1: what mods are valid to use in runs? I currently use a mod called "Bendy: Unbound" to make my camera movements smooth (theyre very choppy and idk how to get it smooth), but it also includes other cheats, so I imagine that isn't allowed.

2: what version is the best to run? I've downloaded the patch given in resources; however latest patch might be faster? im not knowledgeable enough in this game to know.

3: finally, is there a discord server for speedrunning? i see a pinned forum at the top which includes a link to an invalid server invite, so im currently unable to join if thats meant to be the server

I am aware of the speedrun mod as well, but that includes extra cheats so I'm still unsure about that too (it's also unable to be used in the latest patch)

Downpatching the game and applying the speedrun mod is probably the best way to speedrun the game since all the extra cheats in the mod have toggles that you can turn off and on at any time and have cheat indicators on the bottom left of the screen in game that need to be visible during a run to show if any said cheat was enabled. Plus all the new timesaves that were added to the newest patch of the game were also just implemented over to the mod on the downpatch. finally for the server, the valid link is under the games name on the discord icon you can click on

The only mod allowed is the Speedrun Mod.

idk if horhay explained it or not but what helped me and others is to cap the game to 60 fps then turn vsync on and off for smoother camera
