Granny Legacy Mobile 1.2.1 (1.8.8) Has been released, there are still a few bugs, so it wont be much of a surprise if the game isn't on the page when you are about to download. Hello, fellow speedrunners! Starting January 1st 2026, a new rule will be implemented for mobile players. For popular categories (Which are defined by categories with over 20 unique submissions) will be required to show all running background apps. Hello, fellow speedrunners! Today I have two announcements to make:
- The leaderboard has been reworked into something more simple to navigate through. The new structure also allowed us to remove many non existent categories, especially ones that should of never existed in the first place.
And
- The ruleset has been reworked. Some old rules were removed and new ones were placed. All of the current rules apply to all runs that were submitted starting 23.11.2025. And as a bonus, I have translated the ruleset in the following languages: Portuguese, Russian

The leaderboard might look weird for a bit because we're currently going under a category reorganizing and restructuring.
You can still continue to submit runs, just put them into the original difficulty categories, and not the new "version emulator" categories, for now. The current runs will eventually be moved into these.
We're doing this as there are a lot of invalid categories that can be selected. For example, there is no Car Ending on version emulator 1.0.
Categories like these are going to be removed, making there be less empty categories and the leaderboard will be easier to navigate and cleaner.

Conditions & Rules:

Each player should do 4 runs in total:

- Easy (v1.0) without Granny or Grandpa
-
- Extreme (v1.0) without Grandpa

- Easy (v1.8) Sewer Escape, without Granny or Grandpa or Mom spider

- Extreme (v1.8) Sewer Escape, without Grandpa
(By saying v1.0 and v1.8 it means the in-game version emulator not the whole game's version)
-
The total time of all your runs is what determines your rankings (the lower your total time the better your ranking is)
-
If your total time is less than other players, you win!
-
The rules for speedrunning the runs are the same as the speedrun.com's Granny: Legacy's page's rule
-
Other than the Difficulty and the Version emulator, most of the other options and categories are optional with a few exceptions
-
Glitched runs are not allowed
-
Extras option is not allowed
-
Robot Granny option is not allowed
-
Dynamic Spawns option is not allowed

Your escape route in your runs is optional
-
Your game version is optional (1.0, 1.1. 1.1.6 etc...)

If you're caught cheating, you'll be eliminated from the Event, Granny: Legacy's speedrunning page and Granny Legacy speedrunning discord server

In the Event, Mobile players' compete stage is different from PC players' one (Mobile players only compete with other Mobile players, and PC players compete with other PC players)

You can only participate with one platform (Mobile or PC)
-
Don't publish your runs before the Event ends (exp: mark them as unlisted or private if you're using YouTube)
-
Don't talk to other speedrunners about your/their runs
-
If you want to participate, message "montazh88" on discord and type the platform you want to participate with (Mobile or PC)
-
After recording your runs, Send them in "montazh88" 's discord (all the 4 runs are required. Otherwise your runs won't be marked as submitted)

After sending your runs, they will be permanently marked as submitted and can't be replaced with a better run. So be careful
-
The Main Menu HAS TO BE SHOWN before or after the run without any cuts in the video or editing

Any run submitted after 13/10/2025 03:30 GMT for the Event, will be rejected

It is recommended for the players to submit all of your 4 runs in speedrun.com when the Event is over

Hello, fellow speedrunners! A rule has recently been changed. Starting today, all future speedruns must have audio. Any videos with no in game audio will be rejected. Runs which were submitted before this rule change are not affected, and will be accepted even without audio. This change takes immediate effect. I wish you all a good day/evening!
