Minimum level requirements for completion

A step-by-step of what I've found to be the necessary logic chain for completing a level. While most of this is mundane "hit this trigger to make griggs say something", it's useful for two thing:

  1. understanding what you're actually doing in a level when running
  2. glitch hunting, especially looking for potential skips/oobs; there's limited areas where those would be useful in the first place, so why not look where it's useful?

items marked by a double dash (--) are not necessary, just explanations

Anyway, everything should be self-explanatory, but if not, just ask me about something on the cod discord

FNG -pick up weapon -hit trigger volume at station number 1 -aim down sights -shoot the two targets while ADS -choose whether to invert controls or not -shoot three targets from the hip -shoot one target (doesn't need to penetrate the wood) -shoot at least 7 targets within the 10 second time frame --when the 10 seconds are up, if you've shot at least 7 targets the pistol spawns -pick up the pistol -have your rifle equipped when instructed to switch to it -switch to pistol when instructed -have the watermelon knifed when instructed to knife it -hit trigger volume outside price's hangar -hit trigger volume ~1/4 up the ladder -hit trigger volume at the top of the tower -pick up the mp5 and flashbangs -interact with the top of the rope -do the FNG course; nothing weird here -hit trigger volume at the monitors -select difficulty -level finishes ~2 seconds after you select difficulty

Crew Expendable --have all the people in the healm dead; the AI does this automatically -hit trigger volume at doorway directly after stairs -hit trigger volume in next doorway that takes you outside -hit trigger volume next to exploded container -hit trigger volume next to the tanker ("Got two on the platform") -hit trigger volume just after the first platform ("Weapons free") -hit trigger volume next to the centre group of containers just before second platform -hit trigger volume just after the second platform ("we got company") --the helicopter sequence will play and your allies will move to the door -hit trigger volume just outside closed entrance ("I like to keep this for close encounters") -hit trigger volume just round first corner ("Hallway clear") -hit trigger volume partly down stairs ("Movement right") -kill the 4 enemies in the hallway ("Tango down") -hit trigger volume just before the red-lit doorway into the first cargo area -kill the 3 enemies in the first cargo area ("Catwalk clear") --there's a few trigger volumes more to get the AI to stack up and go into the second cargo area -hit trigger volume just after the doorway -trigger volume at the top of the stairs; spawns 3 enemies on the catwalk -kill these 3 enemies -kill the two enemies that comes out of the doorway -hit trigger volume just before doorway into final cargo area -kill the 14 enemies in the final area -hit trigger volume halfway through final area ("You might wanna take a look at this") -pick up manifest -hit trigger volume just before doorway ("Wallcroft, Griffen, what's your status?") -hit trigger volume just before the right turn; ship explodes here -run out of the ship (not gonna list the trigger volumes since there isn't really much happening here) -jump onto the helicopter -level ends ~37 seconds after you jump

Blackout -hit trigger volume just before going under the bridge -hit trigger volume under the bridge; this spawns the enemies ahead and the loyalists beyond -hit trigger volume just before the sandbags after the swamp ends; this teleports your allies to the bridge -kill the 5 enemies in the two buildings -hit trigger volume in front of building you have to walk through; this makes Price reach the door -hit trigger volume next to the white truck; this starts the loyalist sequence -hit trigger volume at the fence sniper spot -look towards the enemy; this starts the attack sequence -shoot the two people in the window -hit trigger volume in second burnt-out doorway -hit trigger volume exiting the burnt out building --there are 3 triggers to spawn a wave of helicopter enemies: middle of the burnt building, just before wreckage, and just after wreckage -when 10 seconds have passed after you first kill 2 people OR you've spawned at least two waves of helicopter enemies -AND any spawned helicopter enemies are dead --you then trigger supporting the loyalists from the cliff -kill the 3 enemies in the roof directly in front of the cliff("Good! Now we are making progress") -hit trigger volume at power station entrance ("Look. The final assault has already begun") -hit trigger volume on concrete platform; this enables the rappel and price/gaz rappelling down -interact with rappel -hit trigger volume by climbing over the wall -hit trigger volume just before the log pile on the right OR throught the doorway on the left -hit trigger volume just after the burnt cart ("Bloody hell let's move, he may still be alive") -hit trigger volume just before the last telephone pole leading to the house ("Gaz, go around the back and cut the power") -hit trigger volume on the concrete platform outside the building entrance; this starts the breaching sequence -go through the house -kill the enemy in the final room -hit trigger volume near nikolai; this starts nikolai getting picked up sequence -hit trigger volume in doorway exiting the house; this makes the helicopter land -hit trigger volume next to helicopter to get in it -level ends ~21 seconds after you get in

Charlie Don't Surf -hit trigger volume just before the sattelite dish on the roof; this spawns the planes flying over -hit trigger volume next to the second door on the right -hit trigger volume round the corner ("Do it") -level ~51 seconds after

The Bog -hit trigger volume at the little drop down or down the first set of stairs ("Switch to night vision now!") -hit trigger volume in the collapsed wall of the bottom hallway ("Jackson, you and Roycewicz head upstairs") -hit trigger volume just round the collapsed section; this makes Roycewicz move forward -hit trigger volume midway up the stairs -hit trigger volume on the second half-set of stairs -hit trigger volume just before second floor doorway ("Watch your fire! We're on the second floor.") -hit trigger volume in the collapsed wall before the machine gun -kill all the enemies in the playable section of the second floor -wait for Lt. Vasquez to reach the machine gun -interact with the machine gun -kill the enemy who spawns behind the wall directly in front of the machine gun -have all the non-respawning enemies area dead (i.e. all in the playable area and in the two broken balcony sections) --this unlocks the next area -hit trigger volume in the doorway to the next area ("Sir there's a ton of them out there!") -hit trigger volume just before the wrecked cars -kill enemies so that your allies move up ("Contact on the overpass!") -pick up javelin -destroy 2 tanks -hit trigger volume where the market area ends -hit trigger volume just round the corner ("Alpha Six what's your status over?") -hit trigger volume next to the first building; spawns targets to the west ??? kill enemies ??? -plant C4 on AA gun -explode C4 on AA gun -place beacon -hit trigger volume next to tank -level ends ~16 seconds after

Hunted -hit trigger volume just before the 2 barrels -hit trigger volume just before the bridge; this spawns the helicopter flying overhead -hit trigger volume before the door; this lets price open it -kill all the enemies -hit trigger volume by climbing over the fence -hit trigger volume half before the berm to spawn the helicopter -hit trigger volume just after the stairs going up inside the house -hit trigger volume just after exiting the house ("It's too quite...where the hell did they go?") -hit trigger volume next to the cart by the two silos; this spawns the dogs + 6 enemies -hit trigger volume past the fence by the two silos; this spawns 11 enemies -hit trigger volume just before the small hut in the firefight area; this spawns a dog -have all these enemies dead -hit trigger volume just past the small hut -hit trigger volume through the small gate; this spawns the troop carrier -hit trigger volume halway through the stream ("Hold up, sentries on the bridhe up ahead") -hit trigger volume next to where your allies are in cover ("Stay out of the spotlight") -escort your allies to the stinger building -shoot two stinger missiles at helicopter -have all the enemies killed -hit trigger volume before the door; this lets Price open it -hit trigger volume ~118m from the final objective ("Bravo Six, this is Warhammer standing by") -hit trigger volume by the tank to end the level

Death From Above -just do the level lol

War Pig -hit trigger volume just after the breezeblocks -hit trigger volume just after the digger -hit trigger volume just round the main corner -kill all the enemies that spawn; tank moves forward after doing 4 scripted shots --the above 4 are all things that move the tank forward a section --tank moves to the corner after doing two scripted shots, then does two more -escort ally to the dumpster; they're the crouching one who first pushes it --note: they will immediately begin crouch-walking when you hit the trigger volume in the doorway before the blue mattress/barrel --this is the final escort trigger volume -escort Lt. Vasquez to the dumpster; they're the second person who finishes pushing it -have all the enemies who spawn after the dumpster dead; your allies will open the door -hit trigger volume at the bottom of the stairs; this spawns the enemy tank -hit trigger volume in the destroyed wall; this starts the sequence where the tank gets destroyed -hit trigger volume at end of helicopter to end the level

Shock and Awe -hit trigger volume on exit of helicopter ("This LZ is too hot, we'll circle back in three minutes") -hit trigger volume just after the helicopter; this makes it take off -hit trigger volume next to the breezeblock ("Watch for friendlies near the green smoke on the second floor") -hit trigger volume just before the doorway to the stairs ("Hold your fire! Hold your fire!") -hit trigger volume at the bottom of the stairs -hit trigger volume party up the first half of stairs -hit trigger volume at the bottom of the second half of stairs -hit trigger volume just past the drop; this despawns the gate blocking the starting area -hit trigger volume in the lane with the columns; this spawns in the helicopter ("Get to the LZ! Let's move!") -hit trigger volume next to the flaming bins ("Go! Go!") -hit trigger volume where the entrance to the helicopter is/would be -hit trigger volume where the Mark 19 is/would be --this starts the sequence where you fly and the other helicopter gets shot down -hit trigger volume next to the head of the streetlight at the helicopter; this lets you interact with the pilot -pick up the pilot -hit trigger volume at the rear of the helicopter; this starts the sequence if you getting nuked -level ends ~67 seconds after

Aftermath -level ends ~118 seconds after, if you do nothing --level ends ~16 seconds after hitting any of the triggers at the edge of the map

Safehouse --Buildings are cleared when two conditions are met: you've been near them, and there are no enemies alive in them --Al-Asad has only two spawns: the barn at the rear of the village, or the left building done in speedruns --when you clear one of these two, the other spawns doors blocking the entrances and becomes the level-ending building --you can make no enemies alive for a building by force-spawning enemies; due to the 32 limit on AI in a level, --this can clear a building, and is the strat used in speedruns to clear the barn -escort allies to Al-Assad spawn -hit trigger volume outside doorway where your allies are ("Remember, we want Al-Asad alive") -level ends ~62 seconds after

All Ghillied Up -hit trigger volume at the building after the big building to end the level

One Shot, One Kill -interact with your sniper rifle -shoot Zakhaev's arm -shoot down the helicopter -interact with the rappel -hit trigger volume next to the second streetlight on your left -hit trigger volume next to the wrecked car just after the streetlight -hit trigger volume to the side of the head-on apartment block ("We'll lose 'em in that apartment! Come on!") -hit trigger volume just in front of the block you go in; this starts the sequence where MacMillan looks around and opens the door -hit trigger volume by climbing out of window -hit trigger volume under the stairs in the next building -hit trigger volume in doorway exiting building ("More behind us!") -escort MacMillan to point next to roundabout; this spawns the helicopter -have all enemies dead, such that MacMillan starts shooting at the helicopter ("Price! Shoot the helicopter!") -look at an area roughly at the helicopter for a total of 3 seconds -interact with MacMillan to pick him up -hit trigger volume just at the entrance to the apartment block -hit trigger volume a bit after the exit of the apartment block ("We're almost there. The extraction point is on the other side of that building") -hit trigger volume at the exit of the changing rooms; this spawns the two enemies -hit trigger volume just after the drop -hit trigger volume just before the opening in the picket fence before the ferris wheel ("Alpha Six, this is Big Bird") -put MacMillan down at the glowing spot --MacMillan can be picked up again ~249 seconds later -interact with MacMillan to pick him up -hit trigger volume at the rear of the helicopter whilst holding MacMillan -level ends ~40 seconds later

Heat -hit trigger volume near the defensive border ("Do it") -kill 2 enemies ("Squad, hold your ground, they think we're a larger force than we really are") -kill 2 enemies --~33 seconds later the enemies will put up smokescreens -kill 4 enemies; the helicopters spawn after this -pick up and use the 4 detonators -hit trigger volume just before the last fence before the barn -pick up the javelin -destroy the 4 tanks -hit trigger volume at the pick-up point -hit trigger volume at the entrance to the helicopter -level ends ~28 seconds later

The Sins of the Father -hit trigger volume halfway through the junkyard/just after the bus -kill all the enemies --this starts the ambush sequence -hit trigger volume at the exit of the junkyard building -hit trigger volume just before the tractor ("Be advised this area is crawling with hostile forces, over") -hit trigger volume just before the breezeblocks ("Check your fire check your fire. We gotta take this guy alive") -hit trigger volume just past the breezeblocks -hit trigger volume at the entrance to the side alley -hit trigger volume just before the corner -hit trigger volume just round the corner -hit trigger volume just after the dumpster round the corner -hit trigger volume a bit before the iron fence ("Multiple hostiles behind that iron fence") -hit trigger volume just before the stairs to the parking lot ("Hostiles moving across the parking lot to the five story building") -have the machine gun emplacement destroyed; either you do this or the helicopter does this -hit multiple triggers up to the room with the barrel fire -hit trigger volume in TV room just after the destroyed section/before you go up the sets of stairs -hit trigger volume in kitchen room -hit trigger volume at the bottom of the final set of stairs ("Drop the bloody gun! Drop it!") -hit trigger volume at the top of the stairs; this starts the final sequence --although the sequence ends on its own, you can speed it up by getting close to Zakhaev's son -level ends ~26 seconds after he shoots himself

Ultimatum -hit trigger volume by the third bit of fence; this spawns the jeep -hit trigger volume next to the jeep; this spawns the 8 enemies -kill all the enemies -hit trigger volume where the path splits ("They must have Griggs in one of those houses") -hit trigger volume just before the door; this makes Price open it -hit trigger volume at the top of the stairs -have the enemy dead; Price does this automatically -have all enemies on the top floor dead -hit trigger volume before the door going outside; this makes Price open it ("Moving to the next house, keep it quiet") -kill all the enemies ("The sun's coming up, we're running out of time") -hit trigger volume before the door into the next house; this makes Price open it -hit trigger volume a bit before the door holding Griggs; this makes your allies stack up ("Looks like this is the place") -hit trigger volume next to the door; this makes your allies breach the door -interact with Griggs' handcuffs to free him -hit trigger volume on the stairs -hit trigger volume on the doorway exiting the house -hit trigger volume next to the first jeep; this makes everyone move to the tower -hit trigger volume just past the sign ("Enemy helicopters") -interact with the two C4 spots to plant the C4 -detonate the C4 -hit trigger volume by the wrecked car ("Gaz, take Soap and the rest and scout through this base") -hit trigger volume in the destroyed section of wall -hit trigger volume just after doorway entering the second building; this spawns helicopters -hit trigger volume just before doorway exiting small third building -hit trigger volume just before doorway exiting fourth building/just after both BMPs; this spawns the troop carriers -hit trigger volume in this doorway; this teleports Price and Gaz into the third building -hit trigger volume just after the first tree trunk on your left exiting the compound; this starts the sirens -hit trigger volume just before the last wrecked car on the left; this spawns the snipers -hit trigger volume a bit before the first streelight on the left round the corner; this lets the snipers walk out --ending sequence plays when both teams meet up -level ends ~35 seconds after

All In -hit trigger volume next to the bifurbicated curvy tree; this moves your allies up -hit trigger volume just before the last big rock on the left before the main entrance; this spawns 7 enemies -hit trigger volume by going through the main fence ("This is Sniper Team Two") -hit trigger volume on the javelin platform/a bit before the gate ("Cover me! I'm gonna blow the gate!") -destroy the two BMPs --rappel becomes available when your allies go to the vents and cut them open -interact with the rappel -level ends ~6 seconds after

No Fighting In The War Room -hit trigger volume just after the split in the vents ("Captain Price, Two-Yankey Six reporting in") -hit trigger volume just after the shower room exit; this starts the timer -hit trigger volume 2/5s through the large room after the stairs; this spawns 4 enemies -hit trigger volume 3/5s through the large room; this despawns Sgt. Henderson -hit trigger volume at exit of second of the two silos on either side; this spawns Price and Griggs -hit trigger volume past the big door; this starts the sequence of the launch + second door opening -kill all the enemies that spawn; this lets Price and Griggs move to the breach -interact with the wall -detonate the C4 -kill all the enemies that spawn -interact with the terminal to upload the abort codes -hit trigger volume just after the newly-opened hazard-stripe doorway; this spawns 6 enemies at the lift area -kill all the enemies ("Move! Move!") -hit trigger volume in the lift to start it -hit trigger volume just before the second corner -hit trigger volume just before the double-doors the open out into the vehicle depot -kill all the enemies to end the level ("Alright, get in the trucks, let's go!")

Game Over -kill the RPG enemy -pick up and fire the RPG at least once -shoot the 3 enemies
