Just tried out some ideas there for a quicker route down the tower on the plateau. There is a small ramp that leads to some water just next to the tower. You can jump off and at the last second go into a shield surf and that allows you to avoid fall damage.

We did this before already when we went to bombshrine first. Sadly its not faster now that we know that Magnesis Trial first is faster.

If you land in the water does it still play cutscene?

You can't jump off there the first time. There are invisible walls all around. Can only leave the normal way.

Oh. That sucks. Oh well. On to the next idea then.
