when reading the rules for pill bugs, i noticed it said "Timer starts on clicking play", which was different from hedge hog (a game i just submitted a run for), which says "Timer starts when the game finishes loading after clicking play". i think the hedge hog timing rules should be standard, because it seems a lot fairer since the loading screen isn't timed

also, there is no difficulty specified for the pill bugs category. the one submitted speedrun (so far) is on hard mode, and i was also planning to play on hard mode, but there should be some rules in place about difficulty

For the first one, yea that's fair I'll switch the rules over to that. For the second one, I thought I put in the rules "any difficulty can be used" but I guess I didn't since they're not there. I'll add that to the rules right now.

the rules haven't been updated yet, at least on my end. (i just submitted a run for pill bugs and used the hedge hog timing method)

anyways, i decided to go easy mode because i figured the guide for throws would help me go faster. turns out that in easy, way fewer blue bugs spawn! the run i submitted is 3 minutes long, and this run i tried (in hard mode) is 5 minutes long:

there is a very big disparity of times between easy and hard mode (idk about medium), so i feel like different leaderboards for each difficulty would be ideal. that probably won't happen since few people speedrun this game, but maybe if pill bugs picks up more traction

I did change the rules, timer now starts when clicking on the first level. For the difficulty I'll make them subcategories soon.
