I think there should be a expection for the version thing that is playing a unstable version like build 42

I know that will not be possible, remember atm B42 is unstable, for speedruning we need something(i know we can bug out a few things or speed others) stable so all the people can have the same oportunity.

Also remember, for SR a game, we need to have the same game in every aspect or as close as possible, in b42 you can get different things with the same inputs (that is why is unstable version)

I'd guess we get some categories at some point or you'll be allowed to run any version you want. I know Stardew Valley, a very popular game refused to allow the new version to be ran for months and it was an official release. It takes time for something to be stable.
