1. Go to resources and download the zip file https://www.speedrun.com/zack_and_wiki_quest_for_barbaros_treasure/resources

2. Extract to a convinient location where you can remember where it is

3. Run AutoSplit.exe and livesplit

4. In livesplit right click and select "edit layout" then add a "scriptable auto splitter". Go to the scriptable auto splitter settings within "Layout Settings" and select the filepath of AutoSplit.exe, AutoSplit.exe won't appear while browsing files so you will need to manually type this in, the easiest way is to browse to the folder that AutoSplit.exe is in, copy that file destination, and add "/AutoSplit.exe" to the end of it in the layout settings.

5. In AutoSplit select the file path of the folder with the images (the folder is in the zip from the beginning and is named "AutoSplitPics")

6. Select the capture region. The capute region needs to be pretty exact. The best way to line it up is to finish a level and stay at the "stage clear" screen. Start the autosplitter, skip the start_auto_splitter split and adjust the capture region until it splits. Watch the similarity values to see how close you are. If this doesn't work then you might need to create your own images; to do this you need to press "take screenshot" when it is in a position where the entire "stage clear" is visible and remove the background of the image if it is a stage clear. Then name the image the exact same thing that I have it named and replace it. If you are having problems with the return of the legend or final battle split then do the same thing you just don't need to remove the background.

7. Input all of your global hotkeys form SRC

8. When you are ready to run the game make sure AutoSplit is open and press "Start Auto Splitter" It should automatically start the timer in LiveSplit and if everything is right then you shouldn't need to do anything for the whole run!
