I love Simpsons Hit and Run with a passion, and I've been meaning to speedrun it for a while now. Before i do so, I would like to ask:

Are there still people here?

I've seen videos like Pessimistic_Mango's speedruns and LiquidWifi's runs and I was eager when I learnt of game races which sound like a lot of fun!

Any answer is highly appreciated.

I still run it but don't stream because I run PS2 and my cap card broke. there is still a community more or less though, yes. :)

We do still have "weekly" races and there are still people doing runs, just people like mango and liquid don't do runs much anymore

Noob question here, but what does NG+ actually mean? I know what it stands for

NG+ stands for New Game+.

There are still some runners active today, but as with most communities, people start and stop a lot. The best thing I can recommend is to follow The Simpsons: Hit and Run on your twitch following page.

New game + Is beating the game or level etc with everything already being unlocked, basically means you do everything with the Open wheel race car. You click "show rules" in the new game+ section to see.

Right, "weekly races" will be held either Saturday or Sunday at about 8pm UK time, but beforehand PLEASE say in the discord if you are interested, bc there have been too many times where either nobody wants to do the race or people don't realise when it is

Yeah, there hasn't been much interest (that I know of) in them for a couple of weeks but they are in the discord server

But work has me busy as a bee, maybe this Friday around 11AM NZT I'll stream some runs.

I had plans to do some fun stuff with this game once I get some free time....
