that sounds more like a fun run :D but if we allow this why not just add it into the filter tab as a misc ?
ok so i just ran a rocket run and i actually think its not that worth it. Allow me to explain in detail.
yes you save about 1 minute in mansion 1 depending on your movement and coordination however as with most resident evils the Rocket Launcher is generally a one hit kill but it isnt in this.
It took 3 rockets to kill Plant 42 aka wombo combo king for chris 3 rockets to kill yawn and at black tiger its the worst thing for that door i fired 5 rockets before i decided to stop remember it takes 2 grenade rounds to break the web and i fired 5 rockets and it still didnt break. Im guessing it will take 2-3 rockets for tyrant i did not continue after black tiger as in my opinion it wasnt optimal so i saw no value in that run.
Also i ran this on psxjin not pc what do you guys think ?
It will be a bigger save in PSX because of the door loads to get the bazooka. New game+ has stronger enemies so I expected a few rockets would be needed for bosses. I still haven't tried a rocket run yet. Not even sure if it's in the bank or if you start with it. It's going to save on the acid and explosive round pickups later. I tested quick shooting about a year ago with RL and experienced just a slight increase in fire rate. Barely anything. Hard to say until a solid complete run is done. BT will be the big question. Webs have a lot more hitpoints in new game+ as well.
Question: What happens when you fight Tyrant 2 with RL? Insta kill? Have to try it now haha.
it should be but i believe the rocket works the same as the grenade launcher but please let me know clix
you need a save after a full run then load that save and you will start in the mansion hall as normal with the respective character you saved with

So that is strange. Though its on PSXjin, so web may be different for PS1.
thats actually interesting i need to test it more on psxjin although we are running directors cut on psxjin now but pc is the original maybe that has something to do with it albeit minimally
