I'm relatively new to the speed running and currently speed run one game (moss). As I'm also not the best at gaming I'm wondering if there are any games that are relatively easy that I can try out. I own a HP Pavilion for my PC gaming, a switch, a wii and an oculus, however I find my laptop is easier to record smoothly (but I am looking into getting a capture card for my wii). Any game recommendations would be great.

There are a lot of fairly simple pico-8 games you could check out. Pico-8 is a lightweight "fantasy console" for making small web/downloadable games, so they should be fine for your device.

Note that "easy to beat" does not necessarily mean easy to get a competitive time in.

@Sizzyl I disagree with the statement in FAQ that "more popular games are generally better speedruns." In the case of Web (like this user may want suggestions for) or mobile, the more popular games aren't generally better games, such as roblox, among us, etc. Its better to go off of genres for these types of platforms IMO (also PC is extremely broad so sorting by PC is useless)

@VyPr I'm not saying they're better speedruns, but often times they're very beginner friendly, which most people starting do like. I also said it can help to check for a specific platform if you want that, but generally anyone asking the question 'what do I run' will enjoy a popularly run game a lot more than something with little information from my experience.
