Why in rules it isn't specified that the rocket launcher can't be used ? With the rocket launcher it is possible to receive the fastest time. I have a world record now.

Because we never created a leaderboard for rocket launcher due to lack of interest.

Rocket launcher should inherently NOT be on the same leaderboard as any%. That is why the run was rejected for now. any% = New Game.

If you will wait, we are discussing this.

Because Rocket Launcher is NG+ content.

It should've been obvious Any% would not include post-game content.

It would probably be best, honestly, if we just wait til more runs of rocket have been done.

It makes no sense to add a category, (another category) to a board where there's currently 16 categories and a lot of them are untouched by a lot of these people asking for additional categories. There's no being strapped for choice here... there's 16 categories. More if you include Arranged. We were already talking about cutting back on inactive categories (namely Best Ending, Knife Only)... so adding even more is just gonna add to the problem.

And let's be real here, people want this cause free WRs. Even the first post in this thread makes this semi-obvious. None of these people asking for this have even attempted to challenge the most optimized runs on these boards.

I added the string to the rules for now. There really was no need to, but I did it regardless. In future if this gains some more ground it could become a thing... but adding more categories to sit with 1/2 runs untouched amongst 16 other categories will not help the game. It will just divide competition, again. Part of the reason this game has kind of died off is because of dividing competition. New runners have no idea where to even start.
