Hypothetically lets say I get a WR time for a level but I drove it on the motox3m 2/3 equivalent on Y8, are the physics similar enough to have the times submitted as CMG here?
Also, just a query, what other websites can be submitted under CMG, For example I know of crazy games. Could that be under CMG or un-submittable to leaderboards?
Idk I submitted from a website besides cmg that I think runs the same as cmg, and submitted it under cmg, and it got verified.
as twinky said it has to be on cmg there's just leniency with the rule showing that its on cmg so don't rat yourself out @OvoGamer530
yes, the cmg category is for runs on cmg
So will there be new categories for different websites or are they too uncommon to be justified?
I would say they are too uncommon, as, in my opinion, each category needs to be distinct in some way. CMG is the default, Poki has the timer stop when you die, Mobile has many new levels and boosting before the timer starts, and MC lets you move left and right without starting the timer. Websites like Y8 and CrazyGames don't stand out that much in a unique way.
Are they all really coded differently? I would imagine they would copy paste the same code for the most part besides updates
the short answer is we just dont know if theyre the same or not so we have everyone use cmg to be sure were all playing the same game.
As of July 23rd, 2024, All top 3 runs (including level runs) must show the ENTIRE run

Runs without video submitted before this date will stay on the leaderboard
