Hello, I'm a casual speedrunner who has just created an account to submit galaxy runs. With the recent release of Super Mario 3D all stars, I have decided to take on speedrunning Mario Galaxy. I noticed there is a separate page for 3D All-stars (which I assume is because it lacks some glitches), and saw that there were no category extensions. I will of course submit any% and the like on 3D all-stars, but what about the extensions? Can I submit them here?
actually, the only difference between 3D all stars and the wii version is load time and slightly better star bit collection. personally i think 3D all stars and the wii version should have the same leaderboard and load times aren’t counted. Hopefully the mods at least put a 3DAS extension because as of now you can’t submit 3DAS runs here.
okay, thanks for the info. I was trying to get all purple coins on mario since no one has done that yet but i guess I can't submit it.
The reason why they are separate boards is due to the 3D All-star runs where they beat all 3 games at once. I do think they should just combine all 3 games' separate boards to the OG boards but I can understand why they are separate.
