Glitches and Advanced Techniques

GLITCHES
Hookshot Hover (HH):
Hookshot Hover allows you to gain the ability to freely hover in the air. While in this state you can float around freely however to gain or lose height you will have to either boost yourself upward through damage or pull yourself downward with a hookshot.
To activate Hookshot Hover, you simply need to hook on targetable block with either hand and die while the hook is still attached to the block. Once you die the hook will retract. When you see the hook back on the hookshot in your hand click respawn and you should be floating in the air.
To deactivate hookshot hover, use a hookshot in the hand with which you initialized the hover with or restart your game.
This trick is mighty useful in 0.9.7 as it allows you to easily hover over messy terrain such as lost woods.

MWHH:
Hookshot Hover from another World/Save.
This trick is separated from HH as it is in a grey area in terms of its legality in a run.
To note about MWHH:
-	HH can still be disabled with a hookshot even if it was initialized on another map.
-	HH can be initialized mid jump to slowly float upwards.
-	HH doesn’t mitigate fall damage if you are falling too fast.


Camera Warp (CW):
A very complicated glitch that allows the player to dislocate the camera to any desirable coordinate using a setup in a different map. This essentially allows you to open any chest, lever, button and trade blocks inside the map.
CW still works in 0.9.7.3, however only for a few frames before the camera flicks back to the player. This means you can still interact with any block except for chests which will close its gui as soon as the CW stops.
This is one of the most powerful glitches in AdventureCraft and is currently banned in all categories except for "any% no restrictions". 

Wall Clipping:
Under (yet) uncertain circumstances you can shift and walk towards a block, then leave the save and rejoin to just walk through any block.

ADVANCED TECHNIQUES:
Bomb Boost:
If you get hit by a bomb/bomb arrow you get knockback, which you can abuse to get out of bounds in lots of AC maps.

Strafing:
Walking diagonally is faster than to just walk straight.

Cutscene Skip:
Leaving a save during a camera cutscene and rejoin it cuts the cutscene. If the rejoin is faster than watching the whole cutscene you gain some (maybe) important seconds.

Early Movement:
At a certain point during the loading of a save you can already start moving. You can easily do that every time you do a cutscene skip reload to gain a few (milli-)seconds.
