Explanation Dizzy Prince of the Yolkfolk on the Atari ST is controlled with the joystick by default. When playing on emulator, you should be able to easily map this to your own keyboard. However, the game is also playable *with *the keyboard. To me it seems like picking up items, dropping items, and opening the menu, are more consistent when the keyboard is used. However, every time you start the game you have to switch to keyboard controls, if you want to use them; the game won't remember your preference. During the transition from the title screen to the first screen, you *can *start walking using the joystick, but you can *not *yet switch to keyboard controls. Because of this, when I start a run, I first press 'fire' (mapped to spacebar for me), then 'joystick right', and then 'k' and 'enter'. For the rest of the run, I then use the keyboard controls.
