This is a quick guide for how to implement the Alt + F4 skips in the game and how their usage applies to each mission.

HOW TO UNLOCK ALT + F4 SKIPS In order to make the game accept Alt + F4 as a shortcut for quitting out of missions, you will need to use either Alt + Tab or the Windows key whilst in a mission. This will remove you from the WWP window meaning you can control the cursor.

Once you have control of the cursor, click back into the WWP window. Once you have done this, using Alt + F4 during a mission will cause you to quit out to the frontend, a la Worms 2 and Worms Armageddon.

SKIP TYPES Owing to the varying ways in which the missions are programmed, there are three different skips you can use depending on the win criteria for each mission. These are as follows:

Fade Skip: Hitting Alt + F4 once the screen has faded to black at the end of the mission. This cuts the loading time required to get to the Congratulations screen by around half. This is the only skip available on missions where completion is triggered either by collecting or destroying a crate.

Endskip: Hitting Alt + F4 once you have killed off the last enemy worm required to trigger completion of the mission. On some missions, this may come in the form of the enemy surrendering. This skip can be used the moment the game registers the last enemy worm as dead, which is either when they take the amount of damage required for a kill or when they touch the water.

Mission Skip: In six of the missions, hitting Alt + F4 at any time in the mission will automatically result in a win, as long as your worm has not surrendered or been killed off.
