All Secrets and How to Find Them
Updated 2 years ago by SingularAndrew

There are 14 secrets in the game. They come in the form of golden coins with a 1 engraved on them. You can access their information in the Trophy Room in the main lobby. Earning all of them will grant you a certificate, which is a special animated congratulations screen.

Don't worry if you die after collecting any of these secrets. Once you've got them, you've got them.

Secret #1 - The impossible break out Great! You obtained the first secret! (Or sixth, depending on how you look at it) Try to find them all! The next secret may well be right under your nose.

Secret #1 is on the first screen of Daydream Scape. It's in a cage underneath the platform you start on. To open the cage, you'll need the sound blast power. (The space or shift ability)

Secret #2 - Under wraps Nice one! While you're looking for the other twelve secrets, you may want to attempt to spot the various references to films and junk dotted around. The next secret may be found via something out of place.

Secret #2 is in Daydream Scape, on the first level that has one of those smiley spring enemies. After riding the rising platform up and collecting the heart if you need to, drop down underneath the smiley spring to the right. You'll have to start the level over again, but at least there will be less enemies this time around, assuming you don't restart the level.

Secret #3 - Ground zero While on the subject of killing pigs, if anyone gets their hands on Hogs of War for the PSOne it's well worth taking a look at. Pigs shooting each other... WWI parodies... Rik Mayall... Good stuff. The next secret is fairly easy to spot. Getting to it may seem slightly suicidal.

Secret #3 is in Daydream Scape, on the cannon level shortly after Boss Hogg. Between two floating platforms, there will be a grey box. Once you step on it, a giant apple will rise you up into the sky. Just make sure you're not hit by any cannon fire, or you'll damage boost off the giant apple and will need to try again. Once you've rode the giant apple all the way to the top of the screen, a mini game will start where you will need to kill eight pigs. Once you've done that, a cage will open, giving you the secret. The pigs are easy to kill. They come in one at a time from the right, alternating between being at ground level and jump height level.

Secret #4 - Ascent and decline Ok, the moving screen aspect here is kinda a rip off from the water bits in Rayman, another awesome game well worth digging up. Everyone's favourite Frenchman! The next secret is even harder to get too. Look down...

Secret #4 is right after secret #3, in the rising spikes level. It's on a platform to the left.

Secret #5 - Drop kick These annoying kids outside are really annoying. It's too hot to close the window, and too loud with all their damn high pitched voices to leave it open. Damn eight year olds... The next secret is on the other side of your goal.

Secret #5 is on the second bouncy clouds level in Daydream Scape, the one where you jump over four cactus balls. After getting past the two jack-in-the-box men, fall left off the platform, and then quickly move over to the right to land on the secret-holding platform below.

(Don't forget to go back and gather the first secret after beating Boss Flux if you're following this guide in order.)

Secret #6 - Wrong side of the hole At this moment I've had like an hour of sleep in the last forty eight odd hours, so I'm not exactly the king of reaction times. Even so, I'm taking the time to pad these screens out with random junk. NOW THAT'S DEDICATION! The next secret may require you to move against the elements.

Secret #6 is on the first screen of Snooze Mines (the second world). Instead of falling down the hole ahead, jump over it to the right side.

Secret #7 - Fantabulous Oh crap oh crap oh crap oh crap I'm going to fail English. The exam was terrible, I'm gonna die, I was over-caffinated for the whole thing, I can't even remember half of what I put down, somebody shoot me. The next secret may seem impossible to break through to.

Secret #7 is on the first wind level in Snooze Mines. Go to the second upward wind and use the space on the right to get down. The secret's location is indicated by an arrow with gold inside.

Secret #8 - Break through the ceiling Ever wonder where those little stripes along the edges of some ballpoint pens are made? Nah, me neither. They've probably got someone more equipped to understand than me dealing with it anyway. The next secret requires a detour from your life-saving activities.

Secret #8 is on the first bouncy mushroom level in Snooze Mines. Look for a thin, paler part of ceiling between the left and right pairs of bouncy mushrooms, and double jump up to it.

Secret #9 - Away with the fairies Did I mention that I have six toes on one foot? No, and for good reason. I don't want you all pointing at my freakishly deformed left foot. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha :'( The next secret comes to you straight from the barrel factory.

Secret #9 is in the faerie protection level in Snooze Mines. Bounce up the mushrooms and keep jumping up the wood platforms to find this secret. (Here's a little interesting fact: If you let the faerie die while you're directly below the secret, the anvil that falls on your head will collect it for you.)

Secret #10 - Drunkard DIf you haven't alredy read the HL2 webcomic 'Concerned', I reccomend it, at least untill after the Ravenholm chapters when it starts losing it a little (much like the Simpsons in the past five or so years. Seriously, just let the show die with some dignity) The next secret requires a leap of faith from a couple of electricy platforms.

Secret #10 is in Dead Castle: The wine cellar (The levels get title cards in Nightmare Maelstrom, the last world, so hooray). Instead of getting up on the crates, continue onward, into where the wine barrels are being spawned.

Secret #11 - Lab technician I think this is a ridiculously obscure secret to find, and you deserve credit for it. I can't be bothered taking it out any more, what with sleep deprivation and all, but gratz on getting it. The next secret is at the top of a tower you may well ignore.

Secret #11 is in Dead Castle: Castle labs. Get to the two electric platforms leading up to the heart, and then drop down, making sure you're underneath where the platforms are. If you're too far to the right, you'll miss it.

Secret #12 - Chimney sweep I distinctly remember being watching Jackie Brown while making this bit - a film of total immensity. You know what else is a good film? Barton Fink. If you haven't seen them already, do so. The next secret is on the opposite side to your destination.

Secret #12 is in Dead Castle: Sky platform. Instead of jumping down, double jump up to the right, to the dark grey bricks sticking out. Keep jumping up on the rows of stuck out bricks until you reach the secret on the left. You can walk through the dark grey bricks surrounding the secret to reach it.

Secret #13 - Flying platforms Congratulations on finding the second to last secret! (Second to last means that there's one more after it) The final secret you can reach by waiting near three guys phoning home in a row.

Secret #13 is in Dun Kzu Time Fortress. It will be on a bit of ground on the left, halfway up the left and right moving platforms. You could also try dropping down from the left at the top to get it.

Secret #14 - Bouncy and bouncier Well, the last secret! If you haven't got the others then try and do so - if you have then uber gratz are due. So long! The first secret pops up early. So early, in fact, you won't be able to get it in the first round.

Secret #14 is in Space Hopper. Once you drop down, head over to the left where you'll see three UFOs making a horizontal line. Wait for a left-right moving platform to arrive. Staying on it will take you to the last secret.
