To Progress to Chapter 2 you have to get Pokko to invite you to the Revolutionary Army as well as have enough Justice/Kindness to accept the invitation. This means whatever prevents Pokko from progressing their story triggers are the only things that are required to beat the game!

The first big road block is Pokko will make Josette VERY angry multiple times. Josette will need around 900/999 Kindness to get through all these and progress. The quickest way around this is to hug the Corlo Nut you get at the beginning of the game until you see " I wonder how all the Gijin from Corlo Island are doing... ? " Each time you see this text box you get +300 Kindness, so you will want to do this 3 times to get all the kindness you need for the whole game! Alternatively you can teach Josette to eat stuffed cats which also gives +300 kindness... lol~! Note eating more stuff cats and praising her to do so will also replace some dialog boxes for "meow" which in theory is time save but more expensive!

The order for Pokko Story Progression is as followed...

• Pier 1 (Fisher) = Pokko Arrival
  • Will trigger when there no other queued events on Pier 1. Meaning this can be done directly after learning to Greet Fisher since you are forced at the start of the game into that questline!
• Pipe = Pokko asks to race, Josette gets upset. Say NO.
  • Enough kindness is needed for Josette to choose forgiveness.
• Pipe = Josette Forgives Pokko.
• Pipe = Race with Pokko.
  • Need enough Leg Strength/Balance to win.
• Pipe = See Pokko is not there to unlock Pub Cutscene.
• Karen's Pub = Scene with Pokko touching ocarrina
  • Seems to also be lowest priority, meaning you have to become a Master Chef to trigger it.
• Pier 2 (Home) = Get Mad at Pokko and Choose NO twice to choose forgiveness
  • Enough kindness is needed for Josette to choose forgiveness.
• Pier 2 (Home) = Josette Forgives Pokko
• Pier 2 (Home) = Get invite to Revolutionary Army From Pokko. This trigger has a lot of requirements behind it...
  • Final Pearl Scene at park where she walks away from you
  • Defeating Harben, so the guards start chasing you
  • Seeing Director get out of Jail
  • Watch Jicheal leave the Island
  • Watch Klara Leave the island
  • Talk to Sapphire at square after taking her on a ride in the plane.
• Pipe = Accept Invitation
  • Requires enough Justice 900/999

All these tasks also covers all of Arnold's & Gante's story triggers since they are involved in everything required for Pokko!
