SPOILERS if that wasn't obvious.

Mission Overview: The following missions will have to be completed in order to succesfully complete the quest:

  • Investigate the Message - Earth
  • Meet Palladino at Iron Wake - Earth
  • Find Rell's Relic - Pluto
  • Return to Iron Wake - Earth
  • Capture Rell's Manifestations - Derelict
  • Capture Rell's Manifestations - Uranus
  • Capture Rell's Manifestations - Earth
  • Enter The Temple - Void

Please read the rules by pressing the "View Rules" button on the CoH category. Time starts when "Replay Quest" button is pressed and ends on last victory screen.

Small tips before you start the run: Making Navigation start on Earth. This saves around 2-3 seconds of the animation zooming out of another planet and onto Earth. It's done by starting a run on Earth and either aborting or completing it before hand, so last mission started is on Earth. It is possible to restart the entire quest before having completed the first mission, but if the first mission have been completed the entire quest will have to be completed again before a new run can be started. (If anyone knows of a way to restart the quest completely after first mission has been completed please tell me.) Having completed the quest before hand is a important recommendation since it skips the requirement to press the button to leave Iron Wake.

Recommended setup is: Frame: Nova (recommended build for beginners ) Any Primary and Secondary that can deal enough damage to one-shot the zombies and charge Antimatter Drops. Melee: Telos Boltace (for it's bullet jump passive, which is always active even though the weapon is not equipped in the hand) Nova is extremely fast because you have to ability to run fast in small corridors but portal through long halways by using Wormhole. Make sure always to have Escape Velocity active for extra sprint speed. A guide on how to use nova to speedrun is in the making.

How to practice: Most of this run is the exact same tileset all the way through, which means completing the quest a couple of times to learn the tileset is a good way to practice. Another way to learn the tileset is go start the quest and do each mission until extraction, but abort instead completing it. That way you can redo individual missions if you're having a hard time with a specific one.

Mission strategies: Investigate the Message - Earth This mission contains a few triggers you'll have to activate before a mobile defense like mission is activated where you have to protect Palladino. The triggers are pre-set so going there and looking at them before lotus asks you to is the fastest way to go. Triggers are in order: ¤ Dead grineers ¤ Red Veil logo in blood ¤ "You cast him out" written in blood after this you'll have to wait for dialog before a door opens where you can run and activate the Palladino mobile defense. Make sure to not leave Palladino before extraction waypoint appears since this can softlock the mission or atleast require you to go back to her.

Meet Palladino at Iron Wake - Earth Rush into the room with Palladino, make sure to spam your operator key (default: 5) to go into the cutscene as fast as possible. When cutscene is done you don't have to press the button in order to leave you can abort from escape menu, but make sure that the waypoints shift, else it will not count the mission as completed and you'll have to redo it.

Find Rell's Relic - Pluto The first trigger is the text: "he suffers while you dream" written in blood on the wall, afterwards a dialog between Lotus and Palladino will appear and when done a door will open allowing you to proceed. Rell's Relic will require you to press x, so standing on top of it looking at it will spamming x is recommended. To survive the zombies you can use Molecular Prime and Antimatter Drop to slow and kill large groups of zombies easily.

Return to Iron Wake - Earth Same strategy as "Meet Palladino at Iron Wake" for the first and last part. In the middle there will be a short card game. A card will appear and in each of the corners there will be a word. The words are fixed, but their position aren't. This means the order the words appear in is always the same, but their position is not. The order is:

  • Sad
  • Embarresed
  • Nervous
  • Confused
  • Grumpy
  • Happy

Capture Rell's Manifestations There's 3 of these missions on Derelict, Uranus and Earth. It's always the same tileset for the individual planets, but the manifestations sometimes appear different places (more testing required). Only recommended tips is to learn the mission and be sure to have bound Kinetic Trap to a hotkey for faster use.

Enter The Temple - Void This last missions fight is a mess, the only way I know to complete it fast is to go for the head of the Red Veil assasins. If anyone know how to complete this faster and/or without dying as many times, please pm me.
