Place .gci file in a folder called MCBACKUP at the root of your SD card or USB. Insert media into Wii (or Gamecube, if you know what you're doing), and launch GCMM via Homebrew. Restore the savegame to your Gamecube memory card.

This can also be used with Dolphin, or even Nintendont with a little extra legwork.
