Pressing X at a pretty regular interval (feels like maybe 0.5 seconds) after jumping in any direction can sometimes make your character teleport(?) in the direction you jumped into. It seems more like an infinite momentum bug but you do teleport back to you original position when you stand up and eventually you go so fast you teleport through the walls and floors, but if you do it right it can be a major time save on a lot of the obstacles in the game, especially in Alaska where there is like a ton of large gaps where you aren't holding anything. This bug is super insconsistent but when it works it works well. Another bug related to this is if you setup a macro to spam this like once every 0.01 seconds then it will teleport your camera above the skybox, and if you set it up for something like 0.05 then it will make you hover and rotate a bit. I have gotten a bug with the macro a few times where it will actually give you a massive speed boost in a random(?) direction and make you go flying super far away. If anyone can build off of this then pls add it to the thread so others can use it. This would prob make wr super ez
If you could send a video I'd appreciate it. I have an idea of what you are talking about and I may have ideas to make it consistent.
I have also noticed this glitch but due to its inconsistency, I can't see any way to profit off of it at this moment. However, my first idea would be to use the jetpack to reposition yourself mid-air and it could lead you on a way to reliably do the glitch. I'm still not confident in that method though.
checking back on this today bc i thought it would be funny, i dont why i forgot to omit this detail but there seems to be some sort of coloration between certain graphics settings and this working. It has been a hot minute since i was last messing around with this so details are fuzzy but i remember changing your resolution and being in windowed full screen borderless made the bug more consistent. Ill see if i can get a video of the bug in action sometime soon. Using the jetpack completely resets the bug so it is really useful to stop yourself in mid air. The bug doesn't work in astore from my experience.
