With the addition of the pet shop and the new pets I think there should be some categories for pets:

• Obtain an egg

• Hatch an egg

• Obtain the PINK AURA eye colour from scratch. This would by far be the most impressive run.

• K!ll a pet

• Immortalize a pet (by k!long and reviving it 4 times)

1. obtaining an egg is basically buying one

2. cool idea, but each new egg costs an absurd amount of money

3. too long + too much RNG involved

4. same as 2

5. this would cost like 2 million coins

you probably have no conception of how each game update could potentially make older runs unbeatable for such categories

as far as I'm aware, you get an egg for free when you join the game for the first time, so a category for obtaining an egg doesn't make much sense.

with this said, a category for hatching an egg is an OK idea, although I don't think people will find boxing 25 pizzas interesting (it might be the fastest way)

getting this specific eye color is not only time consuming (let's say, 3 hours), but also very uncommon. I'm not including double / neon time here, or if random people will let you earn money.

killing a pet is basically unhatching an egg and throwing the pet until it's dead.

immortalizing a pet is just straight up stupid idea, not only it's RNG dependent, but earning such amount of money would take you 20 hours if not more

Also, what the hell do you mean “time consuming”? I think you have forgot what the main point of speedrunning is. Speedrunning was not made for 10 second runs. The average amount of time it takes to complete a task or run should have ZERO negative effect on whether it should be added or not. The whole point of a Speedrun is to see how fast can players truly do a task, regardless of how long it would take normally. For example, beating Minecraft. Years ago, it took players hours to beat Minecraft. And now, players can beat it in 7 minutes. Another example: Doors. Now people can beat doors in like 10 minutes, it used to be longer. And some categories for some games can take players literal MONTHS to beat. For example, the all advancements Speedrun in Minecraft. It takes many hours, but if you compare the first run to the fastest run, you can see the immense difference in times. Also, this has changed general gameplay almost completely. This has happened with several other non-Roblox & Roblox games - speedrunning has changed how people play the game in general. Like for example Piggy, it took people hours to beat all chapters and now people can do it in 30 minutes.

I am extremely disappointed that coming from a genuine speedrun moderator yourself, you would completely decline a brilliant idea and opportunity for a run, just because it’s “time consuming”. As I’ve said before, the average amount of time it takes to complete a task or run should have ZERO negative effect on whether it should be added or not. Are you just too lazy to watch the whole run yourself? Is that why you’re saying that? Maybe you are not fit to be a Speedrun moderator then.

Regarding my existence in the moderation team. Obviously I wouldn't like to watch a 3 hour run if the existing categories are much shorter. The other moderators feel the same way. That's why they removed a category in which supplying 1000 boxes is required. You wanted to become a verifier though, so maybe you could verify such runs.

I don't think anyone should get heated over this. Runs here can be suggested and it's best to do the run yourself to show us what it would be like. Of course, if 5 people are going to do the run it doesn't seem very worth it but if many people say that they like it and more importantly are willing to do it themselves, that is when a category is truly considered :)
