Hi there, I have tryied to patch the SMB1 rom with the Vs. SMB home edition ips patch, but I always get this weird glitch on the rom, and when I press start, it crashes

This is not to be patched onto a standard SMB ROM, rather a VS SMB ROM in the ".nes" file format.
