First world (and only, so far) record of VP4 Hustler 9-Ball. Have no real idea how to count the exact time to the millisecond that I should've split, but I simply adjusted the time to 19:21 instead of 19:20 as LiveSplit says because I stopped the timer between pocketing the last 9 and the prompt. Previous PB was 22:06, and I actually would've submitted that instead if I didn't accidentally record my Spotify playing in the background which could've caused the video to get taken down, so I made this attempt just a few minutes after that previous one.

Just wanted to tick off the "get a speedrun world record" item in my bucket list, but I'll gladly compete if anybody actually decides to challenge this lmao. It isn't that easy of a run due to the RNG involved anyway, so it might be fun to compete in.

Probably could've gotten a faster time if I didn't bother with the tournament before the Hammer, but I wanted to avoid potentially spending more time playing extra opponents just to barely scrounge up enough cash to play the boss, so I opted to go for the tournament to also ensure that I had enough extra cash in the end to get the best gear possible in order to make the Curly game more manageable. Obviously, it paid off since I managed to shave off an entire 2 minutes and 45 seconds lmao.

Although honestly, the most important piece of gear that I think is a must-buy in any run would be a break cue, and jump cue second if you have the extra money for it. Getting a play cue with the Pro X shaft will probably screw you up if you're not used to it, so yeah.
