There's barely any difference, I tried it too and didn't see anything that could make it more convenient to run than Normal.
I mean, I'm ok if at least there was like 2 people competing but why if there's not even a single run and an empty category all of the sudden?
Why there's all of the sudden a NG Easy category? Has this been discussed at all?
Thank you.
Even though there's potential for interesting "mods", making a category out of it it's not going to help the game being active again. So I'm just going to say no.
I'm a fan of the McRib whenever is available not gonna lie
There's no actual need for "real" separation of the JPN and CHN versions imo. You can consider a WR separate for each version w/o the need of fuckin' up the boards.
@komakino dog you got something against chinese stuff? You seem to delegitimize that version just because of its procedence.
The Chinese version was confirmed to be an official release by Capcom so I don't know why we should ban an official release. No need to separate in my opinion.
Separating by platform is a common thing in the RE series (almost every main RE game is moderated by the same people btw). But other than that, the reason for it is basically because of loading times and framerate. No one has ever really complained about it to be honest.
If you highlight something on Twitch it should stay "forever" available as a VOD. Old highlights (from like 3-4 years ago) changed URLs but that's it, the videos are still there.
Well, it's just my personal view. I just think the rules could be more refined but I understand why they are as "strict" as they are right now for the sake of making verification easier to mods.
Personally I would want to change the current audio rule for this:
"1. Please don't get the majority of your run muted (because of copyright strikes/whatever)" "2. Please don't cover relevant UI elements (such as ammo count or inventory) with your streaming layout."
I agree that the "tactical resets" rule needs further explanation because it can lead to confusion and (mostly) accidental abuse of the "feature". While I still think dying should not be a reason to reset, it definitely should not be a reason to manage the inventory for free.
But what about the Wesker strats in particular? If you fail first time you need to get along with it or restart until you get it? We never talked about that.
Well you got me dude. I just think those kind of leaderboard extensions are not "appropriate" for this kind of games? I don't know tbh
I'm gonna leave it open for a few more hours just in case.
