I had a thought that running current patch with DLC to level early might make the grind a little less awful, Thoughts?

Hello, I'm new to the entire speedrunning community, but I think I'd be interested in doing an any% current patch run. Just am curious as to if anyone has any tips or tricks on what I should be doing because it is not a widely ran category. I plan on starting runs after I take my finals (in about 2 weeks or so). Also I was doing some research to find out what glitches are available in the current patch that would be useful for a speedrun. There seems to be minimal content on the web so if anyone has any links to informational pages on current patch that would be great. Thank You!
