You want to know the truth which i explained already. We have still have old mods who just except runs and do not look at the run. I explained and apologized about the confusion. Being Brazilian had nothing to do with it. Due to the mods who were suppose to watch the runs we were not notified until recently by another who explained there was an issue with the runs being faster than they should be.

I said I had no problem even separating Ps2 and Wii actually i can post pictures of me saying this in the community discord. What I did say was on the PS2 you have run on the disc itself and not OPL because OPL is considered external hardware and isnt allowed. Marlon clearly stated he had a problem with this because he even said that running on the disc is slower. This is not my fault it is slower but if you want it to be fair that is what is needed to be done.

OPL is considered not standard for speedrunning because the idea of it is to use the original hardware that is it. if you want to talk other communities i personally know plenty of mods who do not allow OPL so what is your point. Ill leave it to you..ill seperate PS2 and Wii but run on orginal hardware and disc.

Also I explained why there is no emulator separation the emulators for PS2 are extremely inaccurate. Based on the past there was varied runs with loading and lag making it hard to have a leader board for.

I hope you understand all this was never personal. It was due to some errors and mistakes happen but we can push past it. Again please keep running as a big DBZ runner myself and fan of the series I hope it grows. Ill make sure PS2 and Wii are split.

This is a small speedrun so i dont really wanna ban emulators. I know the mario kart 64 people do it this way where VC N64 and emu is split. I also wanted to be far to old runs and the fact speedrunslive has VBA the only on listed as allowed emu. i can make bizhawk allowed but that would be silly if if vba is allowed. if later on or if ever this game gets super popular i will revise it but for now i think this separation is ok

I did that when i re submited all of the runs. if you look my name should show me submitting all of the current runs on legacy of goku. When i did put down that i am player one it would remove the name i put and just use mine. so i just left player blank. Ryu all quest still shows his name. but i do see a duplication when u click a person name it keeps the old run and then the ones i resubmitted. how do i get rid of the old ones.

This is a really late reply but in future runners information:

Mugg is right that emulators do not emulate correct screen transitioning. What this means is that any time something new shows up on screen pause menu, new map, loading a save, ect. On console its much slower you see a white screen for a certain amount of time vs. emulator witch is almost instant. Mugg has posted what time is lost according to one persons run. This is really hard to accurately find out how much time someone gained on emulator Vs. console. So in order to not abolish emu and to be fair to older runs and to make thing easier than to calculate every single one i have separated them. If there are any other issues please let me know.

Ya i changed it to what u said orginally. I still think this will cause confusion and i disagree with that it shouldnt be in a run.

i can deny that its a password because legacy of goku does not have passwords. You may call it a password does not mean it is. Any game i have seen has a separate password screen this game does not.

"If I were to look for "any%", I'd expect a fastest playthrough, possibly with glitches. But without passwords or cheats. You are going to confuse visitors to your leaderboard that share this mindset. "

I do not see anyone seeing this as a password or cheat code and if they do that is fine they do not have to run it. This not a cheat code or a password it is a menu left behind by the developers just as if they left a glitch in the game. If you do not alter anything before the run and the run is start a new then the run is valid. That is why the invincibility code is not of course allowed in these runs.

Passwords are not allowed if you did not press start. If you press start on a game the run is legit. In mega man x we have a glitch password meme. Its only a fun category and not a legit category because you never pressed start you started in the password screen and pressed enter. Looking at the Smurfs it is the same way. There is a password menu but its not allowed because you never press start. I also see you have to input a code before the run even starts to access the debug menu during game play witch is not allowed because your doing something before the run. I am also going to have to disagree with not allowing debug in the run.

I mainly run this game. I feel like this would cause confusion to people looking at these runs thinking where is any%. Any% is defined clearing the game as fast as possible so any% and any% no debug is a clear way to separate it. If we need to we can just get rid of Any% No Debug and just merge the runs to Any% but people will see massive time differences. So Any% is still labeled right as of now but we can merge them or keep them seperated. :D

(definition) A speedrun is a play-through of a video game performed with the intention of completing a goal as fast as possible, most often to complete the game. Speedruns may cover a whole game or a selected part (such as a single level) and may impose additional requirements beyond quick completion.
